(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Mary Louise Clymer, age 87 of Carl Junction, MO., passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Solace House of the Ozarks.
Mary was born on September 24, 1937, in Mound Valley, KS., the daughter of Eugene and Della Morain. She attended and graduated from Ozark Christian College. Mary worked in the ministry with her husband for many years and served as the church secretary for Carl Junction Christian Church for more than 30 years.
Mary loved the Lord, she would find any way she could to praise and worship. She started a CheerGivers group to minister to seniors and hosted a Tuesday afternoon ladies bible study at her home until a few months ago. Mary enjoyed many things but her family would say her Sunday dinners were legendary.
She married Gordon Clymer on September 20, 1957, he preceded her in death on August 26, 2021. Mary was also preceded by her parents, her daughter, Sharon Fisk, a brother, James Morain, a sister, Norma Brockus and a Grandson, Ryan Fisk.
Survivors include her son; David Clymer and his wife Kimberly of Joplin, MO., and three grandchildren; Alex Clymer and wife Thea, Anna (Clymer) Grider and husband Josh, and Cory Fisk.
She was admired and loved by many people and will be greatly missed. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Connect Christian Church in Carl Junction. Burial will follow at Carl Junction Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
