Max Robbins

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Max W. Robbins, 81 years old, entered his heavenly home on May 2, 2025, embraced in the loving arms of Christ. He passed away at home with his children and wife by his side.

Max was born on July 16, 1943, in Neosho, Missouri. He grew up on a farm with his five brothers and two sisters. When he was ten, he and his family moved to California.

Later, Max met Violet in Perris, California, and the two were married on April 9, 1961, in Neosho, Missouri. They have lived in Nuevo, California, for the past fifty-nine years and just recently celebrated their sixty-fourth wedding anniversary.

Max worked in the trucking business for over sixty years. He was the Grand Marshal of the Nuview Lions Club’s 4th of July Hometown Parade and was often called the Mayor of Nuevo.

Together, Max and Violet raised three wonderful children: Cindy (Larry) Scoggins, David (Cindi) Robbins, and Carolyn (Tony) Montoya. They have also been blessed with six grandchildren: Shelby, Tony, Max, Sonny, Jeremy, and Emily, and six great-grandchildren: Ryder, Jeff, Hazel, Penelope, Abbie Bee, and Sophie. A seventh baby boy is expected in August. Max will be deeply missed, and his legacy of love will always be cherished and remembered by his family.

Max is survived by his wife, Violet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Eula Robbins, two sisters, Pearl and Fay, four brothers, Leonard, Jerry, Curtis, and Floyd, and one surviving brother, Carol (Sandy) Robbins of Romoland, California.
