(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Robert Paul Morgan of Baxter Springs, Kansas was reunited with his love on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, He was an Air Force and Army Veteran.
Robert was born February 11th, 1942, in Columbus, Kansas to Pauline Jenetta and Charles Henry Robert Morgan, He was 83 years old at the time of his passing. He drove a truck for CFI of Joplin, MO where he was celebrated for reaching a milestone of driving 3 million plus miles before his retirement. He and his wife lived in Picher, Oklahoma for many years before moving to Commerce, Oklahoma after the government buyout of their hometown.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Louise Anderson Morgan in 2020, He is also preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Shelley Renay Morgan and a Son, Robert Allen Morgan, Two sisters, Sue Morgan Black and Junie Mae Morgan Wright.
He is survived by his children, Yolonda Morgan Rooney and husband, Michael Rooney of North Miami, Buffy Morgan Blackburn and husband, George Blackburn of the home, Starla Morgan of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and a daughter in law, Jodi Callahan Morgan of Grove, Oklahoma, Grandchildren, Terah Morgan Cole and husband Bob Cole of Miami, Oklahoma, Morgan Rooney and wife, Haylee Davis Rooney of Beggs, Oklahoma, Meagan Rooney Stogsdill and husband, Dillon Stogsdill of North Miami, Oklahoma, Guthrie Killough of Grove, Oklahoma, Allen Bradley Ritchie of Grove, Oklahoma, Hillary Morgan Barrett and husband, Dalton Barrett of Neosho, Missouri, Jonathon Morgan and his girlfriend, Kenlee Logue of Fairland, Oklahoma, Three step Grandchildren, Machela Shyers of Miami, Oklahoma, Aimee Blackburn and husband, Javon Lockridge of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Melanie Blackburn of Joplin, Missouri, as well as 20 Great Grandchildren, His brothers, Jim Morgan of Miami, Oklahoma and Tom Morgan and wife Rene of Deer Park, Texas, plus his nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at 1 PM at NEO Memorial Veterans Cemetery in North Miami, Oklahoma. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
