Harry Wayne McDougal, Sr. 75 years, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence.
Harry was born on June 27, 1943 in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late Charles and Louella McDougal. He married Mary McDougal on April 14, 1986 at Pineville, Missouri. Harry served our country for 32 years in the military, serving in the United States Army, Navy and Marines. He really enjoyed fishing and taking long walks. Harry loved attending birthday parties for all of his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Stephen McDougal; two brothers, Bobby McDougal and Jerry McDougal.
Harry is survived by his children, Opal Powers and husband, James of Noel, Missouri, Louella Perez of Rogers, Arkansas; Birdie McDougal and Harry McDougal, Jr. both of Florida; a brother, John McDougal; two sisters, Linda Sue McDougal and Pat Lovell; 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Harry.
Funeral services for Harry will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Leonard Lovell will officiate. Burial will follow in the McDougal Family Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. The family is having a pot luck reception at the new Mac community building in Anderson, Missouri, following the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at this time.
