June Carol Hill, age 85, of Lamar, Missouri died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home.
June was born August 1, 1933 in Ault, Colorado to Harley Wilford “Jack” Hobbs and Vivian Alma (Wilkinson) Hobbs. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, reading, cooking, water aerobics and making Christmas goodies. The thing she enjoyed the most was spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
June leaves behind three sons, Bob Harr, Lamar, Missouri, Jamie (Martha) Harr, Lockwood, Missouri and Harley Hill, Golden City, Missouri; one daughter, Carol Davis; two brothers, James “Jim” Hobbs I, Cambridge, Nebraska and Timothy “Tim” (Deb) Gammel, Mechanicsville, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Brian (Christi) Harr, Timothy “Tim” Harr, Jessica Antal, Sarah (Tim) Mathias, Michelle (Bryce) Strate, Bryan (Samantha) Harr, Nathan (Sarah) Davis, Crystal (Drew Keil) Hill, Dustin (Lillian) Harr, Devin Hill; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents Harley “Jack” Hobbs and Vivian Coesgen; a daughter, Eileen “Annie” Wilson; and two brothers, Noah Hobbs and Jack Hobbs.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, January 10, 2019 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 10:00 until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
