Belinda Crockett

Belinda Lea Crockett of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 57.

Belinda was born June 3, 1963 in Indianhead, MD to James and Barbara (Fry) Dawson. She had lived in the Quapaw area most of her life and graduated from Quapaw High School in 1981. She was Facilities Administrator for Downstream Casino and had been secretary to Chief of Police in Miami, OK. Belinda was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Baxter Springs, KS.

Belinda was preceded in death by her father James Dawson in 1994.








Belinda married Clarence “Butch” Crockett and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include 1 son Collin Dawson of Quapaw, OK, 2 step sons Matt Crockett and wife Amber of Springfield, MO and Aaron Crockett and wife Tracy of Miami, OK, 2 step daughters Alli Yandre and husband Mike of Tempe, AZ and Kasey Zia and husband Emad of Colorado Springs, CO, her mother Barbara Cook and husband Bob of Carl Junction, MO, 1 brother James Dawson and wife Leslie of Quapaw, OK, 2 sisters Bridget Radford and husband Larry of Quapaw, OK and Sherry Sewell of Allen, TX, several step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Rev. Steve Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
