Doug Pugh

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Douglas Alvin Pugh, 60, Diamond, MO left this Earth for his heavenly home early Wednesday morning. Doug was born June 29, 1960 to Cleo and Kay Pugh. Doug was the first of six children born to their union.

Shortly after birth, Doug began having seizures, subsequently every day of Doug’s life, he was cared for by Dad and Mom.

Doug was the child who never left home, was the most behaved, and favored child by all. Doug loved life. He loved his family, funny jokes, country music, laughter, finger foods – especially okra, babies, and golf cart rides with his daddy.

Doug is survived by his father and mother, Cleo and Kay Pugh of Diamond, MO; his siblings, Jeff Pugh, Tammie Southard, Mark Pugh, Becky White, and Amanda McFarland. Doug was loved by sixteen nieces and nephews and twenty-one great nieces and nephews.

Our Father and Mother laid their lives and dreams aside when Doug was born. They served him 24/7/365 of his life. Collectively as a family we would like to take this time to express to our parents, “well done thou good and faithful servants”.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 1, 2021 at Diamond Cemetery, with Ken Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Bailey, Caden Pugh, Shane Bailey, Cameron Webb, McKana Southard, and Trevor McFarland.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dane Dixon, Avery West, and Mary Ellison. Contributions to honor Doug may be made to Integrity Hospice, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
