(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Marjorie Sisk, age 97 of Joplin, Missouri passed away at her home February 16, 2021 with friends by her side.
She was born March 27, 1923 in Windfield, Kansas to Stephen and Anna (Peek) Thornton.
Marjorie was a cosmetologist. She was a very faithful member of the Church of God Seventh Day. Marjorie was a wonderful water skier and pool player. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and helped in the manufacturing of the first rocket to the moon.
She married Wallace Sisk on November 20, 1948 and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1984. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings.
Marjorie is survived by very close friends, Dee Ann Lowry and Diane Curtis as well as numerous other friends..
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday February 22, 2021 at Osborne Memorial Cemetery with David Gartner officiating.
