Fred was born June 22, 1938 in Thom Station, Missouri, to the late William and Thelma (McCorkle) Kiser. He was a lifetime resident of Carl Junction. Fred worked for Snyder Bridge for over 25 years and later started his own company, Fred Kiser Trucking, retiring after 15 years. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. Fred raised cattle and enjoyed all things involving dump trucks.
Fred was a familiar face and never met a stranger. He was social and always had a story to tell. Fred was often a lifesaver to lost family and always able to provide directions to any place. He was hardworking and honest and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
On September 6, 1959, Fred married Peggy Sweet and together they shared nearly 62 years of marriage.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Chris Baert (Joe) and Suzzette Laurance; two grandchildren, Shay Laurance (Jessica) and Abby Fleming (Beau); five great-grandchildren, Emma, Blayne, Stella, Dax, and Everlee; brother, Bill Kiser (Jan); as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his sister and a brother.
