(From Lakin Funeral Home)Robert "Bob" Campbell, 97, of Pierce City passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Luke's Rehab Center, Carthage, MO. He was born in rural Pierce City, MO on March 24, 1927; son of Michael and Katherine (Hanlon) Campbell. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War.
He was united in marriage on November 19, 1960, at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Sarcoxie Prairie to Helen Katzfey; she survives. Bob and Helen shared 64 years of love, devotion, and support never leaving each other's side.
He was a lifelong proud farmer in rural Pierce City raising cattle, hogs, and grain. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church on Sarcoxie Prairie, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion.
Bob is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; one son, Jim Campbell and wife Pam of Sarcoxie, MO; two daughters, Donna Londo and husband Tim of Loma Linda, MO; Betty DeWeese and husband Tim of Powhatan, VA; six grandchildren: Jared (Abbie) Campbell, Jillian (Chase) Curtis, Marina (Blair) Rogers, Dylan (Mackenzie) Londo, Rileigh DeWeese, Payten DeWeese; six great-grandchildren: Allyson, Karson, Grayson, Charli, Casey, and Silas; a sister-in-law, Kay Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Michael and Katherine, six brothers: Tom, Ed, Bernard, Pat, Bill, and Terry, and five sisters: Frieda, Katherine, Ann, Teresa, and Carolyn.

The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with Prayer Service/Rosary at 6:00 PM and visitation to follow from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Mass is Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Sarcoxie Prairie near Sarcoxie, Missouri. Burial will follow services at St. Agnes Cemetery.
