(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Chad J. Ellis, age 29, of Joplin, MO passed away suddenly on January 15th, 2025.
He was born on June 27th, 1995 in Overland Park, KS to his parents Corey Ellis and Amy Bozarth-Ellis.
Chad played football for the Joplin Eagles and graduated from Joplin High School in 2014. He was a hard worker and held several positions in the restaurant industry over the years.
Chad was kind and loving and had an amazing sense of humor. His smile could light up a room and he loved to make people laugh and feel welcomed. He was intelligent and loved to play scrabble with friends and family as often as he could, and he also enjoyed fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents Corey and Amy Ellis.
Chad is survived by his grandparents, Jack and Jeanette Bozarth of Joplin, MO, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
