(From Parker Mortuary)Jesse Ray Kneff, age 59 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin following an extended illness. Jesse was born to Jesse Andrew Kneff and Christina A. (Norton) Spencer on September 9, 1965 at the former Oak Hill Hospital in Joplin.
Jesse attended school at Joplin and later worked for different lumber companies and manufacturing plants as a forklift driver. He loved working as a mechanic and always took every opportunity to help his friends and family.
Though Jesse has been disabled for the last several years, this has not stopped him from staying busy and doing all he can for others.
Those left to mourn his loss include his mother, Christine Spencer of Joplin; sons, Kevin Kneff of Joplin, Bobby Woody of Seneca, Jeremiah Danner of Carthage; daughters, Samantha Ross of Carthage and Paula Enochs of Joplin; sister, Carolyn Huff of Joplin; several grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Jesse is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
A celebration of life and burial of his ashes will take place at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
