(From White Funeral Home)Martha Foster, age 80, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Aurora Nursing Home in Aurora, Missouri. Martha was born on August 26, 1944, in Pierce City, Missouri, to Dan and Mable (England) May.
Martha was a woman of great love and devotion, particularly to her family. She cherished her grandchildren and took immense joy in spending time with them. Her commitment to family was evident as she lovingly raised three of her grandchildren, providing them with warmth, guidance, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit was a cornerstone of her life.
Martha was also a woman of faith, dedicated to her Baptist beliefs. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life, and she imparted these values to her family, ensuring that her legacy of faith continued with them.
Martha's life was marked by her selflessness, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Wise and his wife Ginger of Purdy, Missouri, and Heath Foster of Sarcoxie, Missouri; two daughters, Kenda Foster of Sarcoxie, Missouri and Debbie Long and her husband John of Cassville, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Gene Shumaker of Fairland, Oklahoma.
Martha was preceded in death by one son, Dan McCann, one daughter, Dawn Foster, her parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri. Burial at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
