(From Clark Funeral Home)Carolyn Sue Boman, age 79, of Granby, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1945, in Neosho, Missouri, to LeRoy Blevins and Hazel (Sellars) Blevins.
Carolyn married the love of her life, Willis Duane "Dink" Boman, on June 3, 1962, and they shared many happy years together until his passing. She was a dedicated member of the Hwy 60 Church of Christ and cherished her time there.
Carolyn had many interests, including shopping, dining out, enjoying Christmas lights, and greeting trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured the moments spent with her loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Rodney Boman of Stark City, Missouri; Debbie (Mark) Morris of Granby, Missouri; and Sheila Shaikho (Michael) of Mounds, Oklahoma. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by both of her parents, her daughter Missy Routledge, son-in-law Will Routledge, sister Rosie Hunt, daughter-in-law Christina Lee Boman, and great-grandson Berenger Carey.
Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home – Chapel of Memories on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Swars Prairie Church of Christ on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Derald Boman officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery.
