Roy Stephens

Roy Clayton Stephens, 77 of Neosho, Missouri passed away January 17, 2025 in Joplin, Missouri.

Roy was born March 25, 1947 to the late Hugh and Edna Easley Stephens. Roy was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, attended Patrick Henry Elementary and Edison Jr. High in Tulsa, and High School in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. On August 13, 1982 Roy was united in marriage to Kathi Studdard.

Roy worked construction most of his life, he was a perfectionist when it came to building anything. He loved coaching sports and spending time at the lake.







Roy is survived by daughters Stacey Stephens and friend Rodney Keener, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Trisha Parham and husband Billie, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Khrisi Humphrey of Neosho, Missouri, Mika Jack and husband Stacy of Collinsville, Texas, Koda Swift and husband Phillip of Neosho Missouri, Bekka (Enrique) Stephens, Neosho, Missouri; and Paizlei Stephens of Neosho, Missouri. Eight Grandchildren, Blane (Lyndsey) Hoag of Jenks, Oklahoma; Katey (Zach) Tucker of Enid, Oklahoma; Mikal Jack of Collinsville, Texas; Blake (Makensey) Jack of Denison, Texas; Jade Humphrey of Neosho, Missouri; Kolten Humphrey of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Raine Swift and River Swift (on the way), of Neosho, Missouri. Great-grandchildren, Lyvia, Larsyn, Kaselyn Jack of Collinsville, Texas, Avery Hoag, Jenks, Oklahoma and Myles Tucker, Enid, Oklahoma. As well as his beloved sister, Norma Sue Massey and several nieces and one nephew.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Edna Stephens; his wife Kathi Stephens; one son Brian Stephens; sister Bonnie Gary; his in-laws Ernie and Velda Studdard; and grandson Brent Michael Morrow.








A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.

The family requests memorial contributions in the name of Roy be sent to Angel Wings Equine Rescue 6600 Lawrence 2137 Stotts City, Missouri 65756
