Barbara A. Ulrich, age 62, Joplin, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2020 at her home after a sudden illness.
Barbara was born September 15, 1957 in Joplin to the late Dale Brand and Ruby Jennings Brand and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.
A homemaker, Barbara had worked in the restaurant and home healthcare industry for several years. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Ulrich; and siblings, Richard Brand and Joyce Brand.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Williams and wife, Janel, Pittsburg; a daughter, Pamela Buck and husband, Dennis, Joplin; siblings, Harold Brand and wife, Glenda, Carthage, Betty Gilbert and husband, Duane, Webb City, Connie Gillock and husband, Lennie, Joplin, Linda Harlan and husband, Doug, Joplin, Bonnie Powers and husband, Gary, Joplin; grandchildren, Kaelyn, Jocelyn, Madelyn, Luke, Autumn, Sarah, Izayah, Bretonya, Jedidyah, Ezeriyah and Zaceriyah; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation is planned for Friday, May 8th from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Barbara will be interred at Fort Scott National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, Kansas, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parker Mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
