Keith Peck

Mr. Alan Keith Peck, 64, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2020, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side after a recent battle with cancer.

Keith entered this life on July 11, 1955, in Neosho, Missouri, born to the union of Norma Carole (Mitchell) Peck and the late Buddy Peck.

He was raised in Noel, Missouri and was a 1972 graduate of McDonald County High School. He furthered his education at Crowder College, receiving his Associates Degree. He was employed by the Missouri Department of Conservation for thirty-three years, retiring in 2010 as Resource Technician of the Forestry Division. Retirement was short lived. 

In 2012 he went to work for Chloeta Fire, doing controlled forestry burns. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. Keith was a member of Buffalo Creek Baptist Church and was involved in the McDonald County Youth Football Program. 








Keith is survived by his wife, Rosie Peck, whom he married on June 1, 1991. Additional survivors include his four children, Nick Peck of Houston, Texas, Kindra Harvey and husband, Charles, II of Anderson, Kasey O’Brien and husband, Jared, of Anderson and Zach Peck and wife, Kenzie, of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren, Karys Harvey and Dakota, Jake and Finnley O’Brien; his mother, Carole Peck of Noel; three brothers, Steve Peck of Noel, Danny Peck also of Noel and Jon Peck of New Orleans, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Keith will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Buffalo Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Steadman officiating. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Roger Schmidt, Terry Cook, Phillip Daw, Stan Lovan, Tim Stanton, Clint Dalborn and HC Woolard. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers memorials are being directed to the McDonald County Youth Football Program c/o the funeral home.
