Born April 17, 1952 in Lamar, MO.
Passed away December 5, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Richard was a butcher for 38 years. Most of the time at South Town Meat in Joplin. He loved fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. He also loved watching his grandson and great nephews in football and wrestling at Carl Junction.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Rae Berry and Marjorie (Snyder) Betty; a daughter Kandice; a son Joshua; and a grandson Nathan; two brothers Gary Betty and Doug Berry.
Richard is survived by his wife, Debbie; three sons, Jason and wife Rachel, Nickalas and Cody; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends
