Cecil Caddick

Cecil Caddick, age 90, of La Russell, Missouri, passed away at 11:14 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home. He was born February 21, 1931, in Walsh, Colorado, the son of Bennie and Pearl (Erickson) Caddick.

Cecil worked as a mechanic for John Deere and was a cattle farmer. He managed a group of service stations in Aurora, Colorado, was the owner/operator for a DX Station in Sarcoxie, Missouri, trained horses, and cow dogs and loved gardening. He was a member of the Blake Baptist Church.

On February 2, 1947, he married Myrna Rae Gordon in Ulysses, Kansas. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2021.

Cecil is survived by two daughters, Janice Calvin and her husband, Stanley, of Sarcoxie and Ramona Landers and her husband, Randy, of Ash Grove, Missouri; one son, Rick Caddick and his wife, Kristy, of La Russell; one brother, Arthur Caddick and his wife, Betty, of Sarcoxie; seven grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Pearl; wife, Myrna; brother, Donald Caddick and sister, Elenor Morland.

A visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, Missouri, with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Goss Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
