(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Eulah Lee Lewsader, age 94, of La Russell, Missouri, passed away at 12:07 a.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center, in Carthage, Missouri. She was born November 12, 1927, in Round Grove, Missouri, the daughter of S.P. and Vivian (Vaile) Cantwell.
On January 22, 1944, she married Herman Clement Lewsader in Columbus, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1988.
Eulah is survived by her son, Jeff Lewsader of Carthage; one daughter, Sharon Pennington and her husband, Alan, of La Russell, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lawmaster and her husband, Josh, of LaRussell, Melissa Slates and her husband, Josh, of Carthage, and Katie Pennington of Las Vegas, Nevada; three great-grandchildren, Isaich Lawmaster of La Russell, Jessica Slates of Carthage, and Alex Pennington of Las Vegas.
Eulah was preceded in death by her parents, S.P. and Vivian; her husband, Herman; grandson, Weston Greenstreet and two sisters, Gladys Sullivan and her husband, Lee, and Waunita Sanders.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller, Missouri. Burial will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
