(From Ozark Funeral Home)Harvey L. Willis, 82, of Anderson, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, with his loving family by his side.
He entered this life on December 21, 1939 in Joplin, Missouri, born to George and Clara Mae Jean (Watson) Willis. Harvey proudly served his Country in the Military branches of the Marine Corps, Air Force and the Navy. He was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. Harvey loved playing Bluegrass Gospel music, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; all of his siblings; first wife, Joyce and a son, Harold Lee Willis.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Emma of the home; a son, Bill Willis (Charlene Warren) of Colcord, Oklahoma; daughter, LaJuanna Vasquez of Springfield, Missouri; stepchildren, Tim Brock and wife, Tammy of Grove, Oklahoma, Vicky Brock of Neosho, Missouri, Becky Williams and husband, Tim of Anderson, Missouri, Kathy Stout and husband, Eddie of Anderson, Missouri; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Harvey.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri, with Terry Willis officiating. Grandsons, Michael McQuality, Wesley Willis, Kenneth Willis, Ray Robeson, David Divine, Matt Stout, Jason Divine, Tyler Curtis, Ethan Williams and Jax Brock will honor Harvey’s life by serving as pallbearers.
