Laura May

Laura Ann Ledbetter May was born November 20, 1962 in Arkansas, the biological daughter of Arch and Geneva P. (Lemon) Ledbetter and was later adopted by the May family of northwest Arkansas. 

She graduated high school and completed two years of college. Laura worked in the healthcare industry as a CNA and also worked with the developmentally disabled in group homes. 

She enjoyed playing the guitar, cooking, reading about the Holocaust and Biblical history. She loved her friends and developed many lifelong friends. 

Laura is survived by her son, Terry Robert May; a sister, Ella May and many, many cherished friends. She is preceded in death by a brother, James (Jamie) Earl.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11 am at the Oakwood Cemetery, south of Neosho.
