(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Betty Jo (Clark) Harrall, age 90 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 1, 1931 in Anderson, Missouri to Joseph and Velma (Stewart) Clark. She was a lifetime resident of the Joplin area.
Betty married the love of her life, Ivan Harrall on April 5, 1953. Together they had three children, Terri, Cyndi and Gary Joe.
Betty loved being a wife and mom, her family meant everything to her. As she became a grandmother and great-grandmother, her love for her family grew, and she became known as “Granny B.”
She was a believer of Jesus Christ and a long-time member of the First Church of Christ Scientists. She will be remembered for her ability to welcome guests and strangers alike and ensure everyone left as a friend. Betty valued relationships over materialistic items, and was loved by everyone she had the chance to meet.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Harrall and grandson, Chad Heeter.
Betty is survived by her three kids, Terri Heeter; Cyndi Devore; Gary Joe Harrall (Beth Ann), nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Ozark Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3:00-4:00 pm Sunday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
