(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mr. Claud Richard David, 79, of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Claud entered this life on March 11, 1942, in Fair Play, Missouri, one of three children born to the union of the late Cecil Bruce and Elsie Marcella (Fisher) David. He was raised and attended school in Webb City.
He was employed by Missouri Steel for a number of years. He retired doing maintenance for the Perry Family in Webb City. He enjoyed working in his yard and collecting Ford model cars.
His parents and a brother, Bruce, preceded him in death.
Claud is survived by one sister, Peggy Jane Riggins of Carthage, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Alan McCamey officiating. Burial will follow at Carterville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City.
