(From Clark Funeral Home)Richard Lee Harris, born October 5, 1949 in Granby, Missouri, passed away at CoxHealth, Branson, Missouri on January 27, 2022.
Richard worked in the field of civil drafting and design for forty years, first at Armco Steel, then at Allgeier Martin & Associates in Joplin, Missouri and Dallas, Texas and at Sprenkle and Associates in Monett, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman from 1968 to 1972.
Besides his wife of forty four years, Richard leaves behind one son and three daughters, their respective spouses; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law.
Richard was retired, cruising his estate in his trusty side-by-side, taking his devoted dog to the creek, relaxing on the deck in warm weather and in front of the woodstove in winter, always with his beloved wife by his side.
A military honors service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 3 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, followed by visitation until 5 pm.
