(From Bella Vista Funeral Home)Grandma Lorene Estep Hawkins Rogers, 85, of Sulphur Springs, AR passed away on May 5, 2025, in Siloam Springs, AR. She was born on February 22, 1940, to Noah Estep and Renia Howell.
Grandma was a foul mouthed, sassy poker playing fool, who loved going to yard sales with her daughter, sister, and nephews. Lorene also loved going through grab bags from Helping Hands.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; grandparents; three sons, Danny, David, and Dennis Hawkins; four siblings, Ruby, Paul, Richard, and Orbin Estep; sister-in-law, Opal Estep; and nephew, Danny Estep.
Grandma was survived by four children, Debbie Little of Sulphur Springs, AR, Diana Hawkins of Southwest City, MO, Danna Brothers of Siloam Springs, AR, and Dwane Hawkins of Centerton, AR; two sisters, Brenda Wilkins of Goodman, MO and Sue Peters of Gravette, AR; five very special nephews, Kenny Estep, Speedy Estep, Toby Estep, Johny Estep, and Tony Estep; plus multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Grandma was survived by four children, Debbie Little of Sulphur Springs, AR, Diana Hawkins of Southwest City, MO, Danna Brothers of Siloam Springs, AR, and Dwane Hawkins of Centerton, AR; two sisters, Brenda Wilkins of Goodman, MO and Sue Peters of Gravette, AR; five very special nephews, Kenny Estep, Speedy Estep, Toby Estep, Johny Estep, and Tony Estep; plus multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, AR 72715, officiated by Dan Merkley. Following the service, a dinner will be held at Speedy Estep’s home to celebrate Grandma’s life.
