Geraldine M. Drew, age 85, of Crocker, MO, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Ms. Drew, daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Loucks) Saunders, was born on February 9, 1934 in Pennsylvania.
She later married Jasper Drew, who preceded her in death in 1973. Geraldine was a member of the Oak Grove Community Chapel of Joplin. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, often creating things for others. Her favorite enjoyment was time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Carlyle L. Stanton II, of Joplin; three daughters, Deborah Watson, of Crocker, Bonnie Didlot, and her husband, Don, of Oronogo, and Rose Pierce, and her husband, Cap, of Crocker; one daughter-in-law, Darcy Watson, of Neosho; one brother, Duane Saunders, of Pennsylvania; two sisters Viola Kiser and Elaine Hulse, both of New York; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by one son, James Watson; one granddaughter, Monica Robinson; three brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin with burial to follow at the Hornet Cemetery in Hornet, Missouri. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 23rd from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory, Joplin.
