Linda Lee Hickman, age 73, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born September 12, 1945 in Barry County, the daughter of Gladden and Rosa (Lee) Painter.
In 1963 she was united in marriage to Maynard Hickman and to this union three children were born.
Surviving are her three children, Maynard “Gene” Hickman of Bella Vista, Arkansas, William Ray Hickman of Paynesville, Minnesota and Debbie Lewis of Fairview, Missouri; special friend, Mahlon Huston of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; extended daughter, Carol Griffin of Neosho, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Edna Meryl Painter; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and five great step-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Olen, Billy, and an infant brother; one sister, Lorrine and one grandson, Robert James Lewis.
Linda was born and raised in Barry County. Most of her life was spent in Barry County before making her home in Exeter. For many years she worked at Fasco and owned and operated her own cleaning business.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Billy Joe Gentry will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
