William Richard McIntyre, age 63, Carthage, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home.
William was born October 16, 1955 in Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Carmel James McIntyre and LaRita Dillon McIntrye. He grew up in Morehouse, Missouri, and graduated from Morehouse High School. He served in the United States Navy, and after his service he returned to work in the Oil Fields in Elk City, Oklahoma. He then moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he lived a couple of years before moving to Carthage in 1986. He worked for years with Carl Lawson Well Service, and for the last 20 plus years with Bill Seward in gutter installation.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy, who died March 29, 2017; a brother, Chuck McIntyre; and a sister, Cathy Havens.
Survivors include his children, Teea Jaynes and husband Mark of Sikeston, Missouri, Noah Hampton of Joplin; grandchildren, Lukas Hampton, William Hampton, Mazie Hubbard, and Gunner Hopkins; brother, Steve McIntyre and wife Carolyn of Summerville, Tennessee; sister, Candy Yount and husband Jim of Benton, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00 A.M. at Parker Mortuary. Family and friends will officiate.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
