(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Leonard F. Rookstool, 63 years old passed peacefully during his afternoon nap on Wednesday March 31, 2021. Leonard was born November 12, 1957 in Joplin to Edward and Freida Rookstool.
He graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1975. He worked at FAG Bearings for most of his life before deciding to leave and take some time for himself.
After taking some time off, he chose to go back to work and began working at Downstream Casino. He enjoyed spending time with friends at Spring River Boat & Ski Club and weekends on the lake and helping with the Southern Drag Boat Association boat races. He was a current member of the Webb City Elks Lodge #861.
He is survived by his daughter; Sabrina Marbut and husband Steve, son; Nicholas Rookstool and fiancé Brittany Kave, grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, Caden, Cole and Emmy. Siblings; Ann Branham (John), Joyce Sill (David), Eunice Spainhower. Proceeded by brother Donnie and sister Jocelyn and parents.
Leonard loved spending time with his grandkids, hunting and fishing. He leaves behind a host of other friends and family.
A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 5-6 pm at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Immediately following the visitation the family will gather with friends at the Webb City Elks Lodge at 1010 N Madison St, Webb City, MO 64870.
