(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Lillian Louise Schad, 95, of Purdy, Missouri was called home to Heaven on Tuesday May 21, 2024, while staying at Lacoba Homes in Monett, Missouri. She was born in Purdy, Missouri on December 31, 1928; the daughter of the late Elmer and Lena (Hemerling) Rupp. She was united in marriage November 27, 1949, in Purdy, Missouri to Oscar Schad; he preceded her in death on October 25, 2009.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church on Stone’s Prairie in Purdy, Missouri.
Lillian is survived by one daughter: Donna Stokes of Joplin, Missouri and two grandchildren: Derek and Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Lena; her husband Oscar; one son: Doyle Schad and one sister: Irene Terry.
Funeral services for Lillian are being held on Friday May 24, 2024 at 10:30a.m. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church on Stone’s Prairie. Burial will follow services at the St. John’s on Stone’s Prairie Cemetery next to the church. No visitation is being held.
Memorial donations for Lillian may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran on Stone’s Prairie Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
