(From Parker Mortuary)Sherry Lynn (Spencer) McConnell, age 65, passed away on May 20, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on December 30, 1958, to the late John and Alberta (Wren) Spencer.
Sherry's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, especially to her beloved children. She is survived by her sons, William Nelson and Johnathan Nelson; her siblings, Cindy Jones, Tammy Phillips, Lene Hodge, and Valerie Wells; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Nelson. Her devotion to Sally was a defining aspect of her life, and there is comfort in knowing that Sherry is now reunited with her in a place of peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
