Edward Snow

Edward Lee Snow, 84, Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center, Carthage. Edward was born November 28, 1939, in Limon, Colorado, the son of the late Thomas Snow and Lena (Callahan) Snow. Edward was a cherished soul known for his kindness, friendliness, and gentle spirit.

A proud 1957 graduate of Duenweg High School, Edward carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life. His formative years on the family farm instilled in him a love for the land and the outdoors, a passion that remained with him until his final days. Edward's happiest moments were often found in the tranquility of Kellogg Lake in Carthage, where he would spend countless hours feeding the ducks and basking in the serenity of nature.







Edward's life was enriched by the close relationships he maintained. He is survived by his cousin, Jean Smith of Berryville, Arkansas. His presence will also be deeply missed by his dear friends, Lora Phelps of Carthage, Missouri, and Jessica Currier of Joplin, Missouri, whose lives were brightened by his unwavering friendship and gentle demeanor.

Throughout his life, Edward's kindheartedness touched many. His ability to greet everyone with a smile and extend a helping hand without hesitation made him a beloved figure and friend. Edward's gentle approach to life, his appreciation for the simple pleasures, and his unwavering positive outlook left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Per Edward’s wishes, there was cremation. Edward will be inurned at the Rule Cemetery, Berryville, Arkansas, at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
