Oletha Stapp

Oletha June (White) Stapp, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood, MO at the age of 91.

She was born on October 5, 1932 in Arcola, MO to Parker and Mary Ella (Patton) White. Oletha attended grade school at Cave Springs (Googer) and graduated high school in 1950 from Arcola High School. She married Siegle Winfred Stapp on December 28, 1953. They had three children, Siegle Wayne, Gayla Jean, and Linda Arlene.








Oletha accepted Christ at the Arcola Baptist Church in 1952. She loved attending church and helping Siegle with his ministry. Oletha read her bible daily and enjoyed sharing scripture and telling others of God’s love.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Parker and Mary Ella White; two sisters, Pauline Bruffey and Virginia Rudisell; and one brother, Donald White. Her husband, Siegle Stapp, passed away on August 4, 1998 after 45 years of marriage. Also preceding Oletha in death was her daughter, Gayla Jean McGeHee on December 16, 2016 and Siegle Wayne Stapp on April 9, 2023.

Surviving Oletha is her daughter, Linda Grider; daughter-in-law, Regina Stapp; six grandchildren, Steven Stapp (Crystal), Parker Stapp (Shawna), Ryan McGeHee (Sarah), Angela Jarman (Bryan), Amy Burns, and Cody Grider; seventeen great-grandchildren, Brittan Jarman, Cole Lollar, Taylor Burns, Gage Burns, Chase Fisher, Hope Hunt, Faith Hunt, Draven Stapp, Harley Stapp, Reagan Woodbridge, Riley Stapp, Piper Buckwold, Jace Buckwold, Izabella Stapp, Marissa Stapp, Ellie Stapp, and Stevie Stapp; one great-great-grandchild, Ridge Lollar, and two on the way.








Oletha lived a long life and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, Oletha requested donations to a favorite charity.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Pennsboro Cemetery. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
