(From Ozark Funeral Home)Ruth Laura McCallen, 94, of Stella, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Waterville, Maine, the youngest of twelve children born to the late Ralph and Hope (Richards) Fitch.
She is survived by her four children, Cindy Rathbun, Lori Centers, Larry Taylor and Beverly Martin; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest McCallen; and eleven siblings.
Services will be held privately for the family.
