(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Sam Leroy Bass, 63 of Carthage passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at home after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Sam was born January 13, 1961 in Carthage. Son of Bob and Betty Bass. Graduated Carthage High School in 1979.
Sam married Lari LeMasters on December 13, 1980. He’s lived in Cleveland, Ohio; Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Lake Tahoe, California; Branson, MO; Destin, Florida and has resided in Carthage since 2012.
Sam is survived by his wife Lari LeMasters, parents Bob & Betty Bass, sisters Stephane Frye, Dana Purcell and brother Kelton Bass. He also has two sons and one daughter. 3 grandsons and 4 grand daughters.
At Sam’s request there will be no services, his gravestone is at Dudman Cemetery Southeast of Carthage, next to flagpole. Celebration of Life in the future. All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
