Pauline Hively

Pauline Hively, age 88, of Rogers died Monday, June 10, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice House located in Bentonville. She was born March 15, 1936 in Guy, Arkansas the daughter of Glennie Katherine Quattlebauhm and Leslie Paul Glover.

Prior to attending Fairview Baptist, they attended McKinley Avenue Baptist Church for many years when we first moved to Joplin. Pauline was very active there in Children's and Youth Ministry as well.








In the cool of the fall weather for many years Pauline was famous for her peanut brittle and would often times have that at various fellowships and as Christmas gift. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1997 after moving from Joplin, Missouri. She was employed by ATT for 32 years, and had Perfect Attendance for her entire career. 

She was a very active member of First Baptist Rogers, she sang with the Saints Alive Choir, worked in the Children's Ministry, and for many years worked in the Youth Ministry at Fairview Baptist Church in Joplin, MO, prior to moving to Rogers.

Pauline in her earlier years loved playing basketball, and later in life she enjoyed cheering on the Rogers Mounties and Rogers Heritage Basketball teams. She also attended many baseball and softball games over the years. She loved to cheer for her former Children's Ministry kids.

She and her husband served Popcorn for many years at Eastside and Jones Elementary Schools. She was preceded in death by: her parents, all her siblings, and one grandson; Scot Michael Christmas.








Pauline is survived by: her husband, Oral Hively, whom she married June 19, 1954, one son; Paul Hively and his wife Julie, of Rogers, one daughter; Connie Bryant, of Neosho, Missouri, numerous nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 10-11am at First Baptist Rogers at the Olive Street campus, with Pastor Brock Caldwell officiating. A celebration of Pauline's life will begin at 11am.

Graveside service will be at 3pm on Friday at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery located in Neosho, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Circle of Life Hospice, or to The Donor's Choice.
