(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Dona Maria Gwinn, age 63, of Republic, Missouri, passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Jacobs Ladder, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born November 14, 1960, in Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Bassore) Pruente.
Dona was a 1979 graduate of Verona High School, in Verona, Missouri. She worked in the Purchasing department at EFCO Corporation in Monett, Missouri and for Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri. Dona retired in 2016 from Jack Henry & Associates in Monett, Missouri
Dona is survived by her daughter, Casey (Jon) Limb of Republic, Missouri; two sons, Adam Harris of Springfield, Missouri and Zachary Chapman of Neosho, Missouri; two sisters, Jill Kelley of Bois D’arc, Missouri and Jan Davenport of Monett, Missouri; one brother, Matt Pruente of Verona, Missouri and four grandchildren, Kaleb Chapman, Lily Harris, Kenadie Limb and Jaxon Limb.
Dona was preceded in death by her parents, Donald, and Barbara; her sister, Beth Pottenger, and her brother Patrick Pruente.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a date to be determined. Arrangements are under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri.
