(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Stephanie Dawn Turner, 47, of Monett, MO, passed from this life to her Heavenly home on Friday, June 14, 2024 while in the comfort of her home and in the presence and loving arms of her family. Since she was diagnosed with cancer in 2011, Stephanie, not once, let it get her down. She remained positive and kept her faith.
Stephanie was born on August 2, 1976 in Mountain Grove, MO, daughter of Duane and Peggy (Wilson) Hungerford. Stephanie graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1995. Shortly after, on December 7, 1996, she married her soulmate, David Turner, in Mountain Grove.
Stephanie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She always wanted to spend time with her family, whether it was at the kid’s sporting events or traveling or shopping. Family was her happy place. She also loved her cats!
Stephanie loved her Lord and Savior and her church family. She was a member of New Site Baptist Church, Monett.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Turner, of the home; children, Jordan Doubledee and husband James, of Joplin, MO, Will Turner and wife Katie, of Monett; Alex Turner, of Monett, Natalie Turner, of Monett and Kyle Turner, of Monett; one grandson, Morgan Turner, of Monett; her mother, Peggy Hungerford, of Marshfield, MO; one brother, Todd Hungerford and wife Becca, of Marshfield; niece, Emma Hungerford, of Marshfield; two sisters, Kim Pritchard, of Lebanon, MO and Cindy Clark and husband Josi, of Marshfield, MO; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her father, Duane Hungerford.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at New Site Baptist Church. There will be a private graveside service held for the family at Marshfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to Samaritan’s Purse. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
