(From Parker Mortuary)Calvin David Leas, age 76, of Weston, MO, passed away on April 8, 2025.
He was born on November 26, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Floyd and Crystal (Fisher) Leas.
Calvin was known for his skilled hands and creative spirit, especially in the art of carpentry. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his deep and abiding faith. Calvin’s unwavering belief in God was a source of comfort and strength throughout his life.
He is survived by his children: Sean Leas, Shanon Leas, Mike Leas, and Mark Leas; his grandchildren: Parker, Declan, Dayton, Michael, Autumn, Cloee, Molee, Harmony, Brianna, and Kaitlyn; and his sister, Kathy Brand.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his grandson, Aidan Leas, and his brothers, Gary Leas and Donald Leas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
