Barbara Ann Taylor Hill (Henry), age 76, Stella, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her daughter’s home after a sudden illness.
Barbara was born January 19, 1939 near Bethpage, Missouri in McDonald County, daughter of the late Claud and Clara Taylor. She graduated from Rocky Comfort High School in 1957, and attended Missouri State University in Springfield, and then Life Time Career School in Los Angeles, California where she learned Floral Arranging. She owned and operated a ceramic, gift, antique, and floral shop near Stella, and also in Wheaton, Missouri for over 40 years.
Barbara married Donald Hill on November 18, 1958 at Miami, Oklahoma, one daughter, April Dawn, was born to this union. Don preceded her in death on August 13, 1985.
Barbara later married Loren Henry on March 27, 1995 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, he preceded her in death on January 22, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Clifford, Clyde, and Clinton Taylor, and sisters, Alma Roller, Hazel Littlefield, Margie Steinbach, and Ruth Steinbach.
She is survived by her daughter, April Dawn Counts and husband Alan; grandsons, James Edward Counts and wife Dusti, and their son, Jaxon, and Tyler Donald Counts; three step-children, numerous step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
