Mary Frances Arcadipane, age 75 of Joplin, Mo. passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her home following an illness.
Mary was born on March 29, 1940 in Carthage, Mo. the daughter of Claude and Mary (Spencer) Porter. She has been a lifetime area resident, Mary worked for the Joplin School District for many years before retiring in 1980. She attended of Forest Park Baptist Church.
She married Thomas L. Arcadipane on August 8, 1964, he preceded her death on July 7, 2015. Mary was also preceded by her parents and by her brother, Buddy Porter. She is survived by one son; Scott Atkinson and wife Sylvia of Joplin, three daughters; Gina Taylor and husband Wes of Joplin, Stacia Carrier and husband Marc of Joplin, Lisa Ann Arcadipane of Seneca, Mo., her sister-in-law; Tena Porter of Joplin, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
