Nancy A. Ferguson age 75, of Carl Junction passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Lamar, Missouri to Virgil Howard and Grace (Scott) Howard on July 20, 1940. Nancy was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City, and retired from Newman’s Department Store.
She married Robert M. Ferguson on March 22, 1962 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2012. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Malysa (Missy) Ferguson of Carl Junction, Stephanie Moore and husband David of Webb City; sister, Patricia Cone and husband Ken of Joplin; brother, Kevin Howard and wife Denise of Springfield; sister-in-law’s, Sally Jennings and husband Stephen of Iowa, Nicole Mutchnick and husband Norman of Missouri, Tanya Leaming and husband Stephen of Kansas; brother-in-law’s, Stephen Ferguson and wife Suzi of Oklahoma, Jeremy Ferguson of Carterville, Tony Ferguson of Carterville; and her beloved grandchildren, Liam, Colin, Kate, Hannah, Dominic, and Olivia.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City with Father Rahab Isidor officiating. A Rosary will be recited on Monday starting at 6:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with visitation to follow until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Nancy was an avid reader, so the family suggests memorial contributions to the Webb City Public Library in her memory in care of the funeral home.
