Sheila Ann Harvey, age 60 of Joplin, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.
Sheila was born March 30, 1955 to the late John J. Gutierez and Irene Chavez Gutierez in Los Angeles, California. She was many things to many people. Sheila enjoyed restoring antiques, she trained pets, worked as a housekeeper and also loved to entertain people by her singing. Most importantly, she was a housewife.
Sheila is survived by her best friend and caregiver, Corky Read of the home; son, Russell James Harvey of Los Angeles, CA.; brother, John Junior Gutierez; sister, Debbie of the State of Washington.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 19th at 6:00 p.m. at First Gospel Workers Church in Joplin. Phil Erwin will be officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
