Evelyn Marie Maggard, 61 of Erie, Kansas, formerly of Carthage passed away September 20, 2015 at Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute, Kansas.
Evelyn was born January 22, 1954 in Carthage, MO to Tom Crahan and Pauline Miller. She formerly attended the Bykota Church of Carthage.
Evelyn is survived by one son Thomas Maggard and two daughters Gail Thomas and husband Lonnie, and Paula Passalacqua of Erie, Kansas, one sister Kathy Erskin, two brothers Jackie Crahan and wife Verla, and Billy Crahan all of Carthage, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Betty Lou Anderson, Loretta Parker, Mary Jane Crahan and Sarah Jane Crahan, four brothers Melvin Crahan, Robert Crahan, James Crahan and Billy Joe Crahan.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday September 24, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home, with a family inurnment at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
