Dolores (Alumbaugh) Baker, 85 a lifelong Carthage resident passed away on September 24, 2015 in Carthage.
Dolores was born on January 9, 1930 in Carthage to Clee Alumbaugh and Violet Thomas. She was the Office Manager at M & P Construction and Central Woodworking for over 40 years. She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.
Dolores was married to Wm. C. “Bill” Baker on August 19, 1955 in Carthage. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1982. Dolores gave birth to two sons, Michael Craig Baker who preceded her in death and Wm. Mark Baker who survives and another son Jon Baker of Alabama, 4 grandchildren Brandy Kissel and husband Trey of Neosho, Missouri, Ashley Baker of Carthage, Missouri, Bryan Baker of Carthage, Missouri and Jordan Baker of Huntsville, Alabama and six great grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister Marcella Fullerton, and one son Michael Craig Baker.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday October 2, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 1, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home with burial at Park Cemetery.
