Elsie J. Buck, age 79, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away Tuesday September 15, 2015, at Webb City Health & Rehab Center.
Elsie was born on August 18, 1936 in Aberdene, S.D., the daughter of the late George and Rosemary (Hardesty) Beck. She has been a resident of Carl Junction for the past five years, moving here from Prescott Valley, Az. She worked for the state of California as an accountant for thirty-three years. She enjoyed needle point and going to the casino.
Elsie is survived by one daughter, Mona Bruning, Wickinberg, Az.; and two sisters, Gladys Belden and husband Tom, Groten, S.D., and Marian Robbins, Joplin. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Buck in 2004; and by two sons, Jay Bruning and Michael Bruning.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Roger Hasselquist, Chaplain will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
