Christy L. Goettel, 40, passed away September 14, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Carthage, MO.
Christy was born February 5, 1975 in Clinton, MO to Dennis Weess of Lowery, MO and Della Neel “Smith” of Carthage, MO. Christy was a longtime Carthage resident and was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Covenant Church.
Christy was united in marriage to Wayne Goettel September 18, 2010 in Carthage, MO he survives. Christy is survived by one daughter Hailey Weess, one son Trevor Weess both of the home, one step daughter Stephanie Goettel of the home and one step son Joel Goettel of Sarcoxie, MO, one sister Shelly Neel of Carthage and one brother William Hood of Carthage, several Aunts and Uncles.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 19, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday September 18, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Contributions can be made to New Covenant Church or The American Diabetes Association in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
