Bobby Dale Hataway, age 59 of Webb City, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin following a sudden illness.
Bobby was born March 17, 1956 in Olathe, Kansas to Donald D. Hataway and the late Mary Lou Blackburn Hataway. He was co-owner and Business Manager for Steamatic Services in Joplin. Bobby was active in the Joplin Shrine Club Oriental Band, Abou Ben Adhem Shriners of Springfield and a past Master of the Carterville Masonic Lodge #401. Bobby also had a passion for all animals, especially horses.
He is survived by his father, Donald Hataway of Webb City; sisters, Karen Korn and husband, Steve of Carthage, Sharon Banning and husband, Dennis of Parsons, Kansas; brother, Ray Hataway and wife, Cindy of Carterville; many extended family and friends that will miss Bobby greatly.
Graveside services are planned for Monday, September 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Wild Rose Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to The Joplin Humane Society in care of Parker Mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
