Lois M. Smith age 60 of Joplin, Mo passed away Friday September 25, 2015 at the Freeman Health Center, Joplin, MO. She was born on September 14, 1955 in Wichita, Ks the Daughter of Dean and Allene “Shepard” Cantrell. Lois worked as a Wire Technician for Ducommun La Barge in Joplin. She loved to collect purses, shopping especially for Avon, traveling and most of all her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her companion Jay Massey of Joplin, two sons Chris Arnold and wife Angela of Wichita, Ks, and Jason Deel and wife Tori of Stafford, Ks her parents Dean and Allene Cantrell of Augusta, Ks, a brother Larry Cantrell and wife Vickie of Wichita, Ks, a sister Patty True and husband Brad of Whitewater, Ks, three grandchildren: Tosha Stafford. Jaeli Deel and Ainsley Deel and a whole host of other friends and relatives
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 pm Monday September 28, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory. The family suggests contributions to Susan G. Komen in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
